PRE & POST WORKOUT MEALS | Smoothies, Curry, & Neighborhood Drama

Today’s video is all about pre and post workout meals. I enjoyed a banana berry smoothie as a pre-workout meal and a delicious curry for my post workout meal. The recipes are listed down below! I also did an arms and abs workout that BURNS. It doesn’t seem like it but TRUST ME. Try 4 rounds and you will FEEL it.

Workout in the video:
Deltoid Combo 12 reps
Weighted Russian Twists 20 reps
Tricep Extensions 12 reps
Plank w/ Dumbbell Movement 12 reps
Bicep Curl 12 reps
Hip Twists 20 reps
Bent Over Flies 12 reps
Plank 30 sec
Repeat this 3x more!

PRE WORKOUT MEAL
Smoothie:
½ cup of rolled oats
½ tsp of cinnamon powder
¼ tsp of ginger powder
2 heaped tsp of peanut butter
1 frozen banana
¾ cup of frozen berries
2 cups of almond milk
~Blend it all together

POST WORKOUT MEAL
Potato, Green Pea, and Chickpea Curry Ingredients:
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 ½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp coriander powder
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 onion diced
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 veggie bouillon cube
2 potatoes diced
4 small tomatoes diced
1 can chickpeas
1 cup green peas
1 can full fat coconut milk
3 cups boiling water
1 tsp chili garlic sauce
1 tsp salt

Dry roast cumin, coriander, and garam masala for 30 seconds
Add olive oil and onion and saute til translucent
Add ginger garlic paste and veggie bouillon cube and saute for 1 minute
Add in tomatoes and saute for 3 min or til tomatoes release their water content
Add diced potatoes and boiling water and stir. Close the lid and let the mixture boil til potatoes are tender (~ 10-15 minutes)
Add chickpeas, green peas, and coconut milk and allow to simmer for another 5-10 minutes
Season with chili garlic sauce and salt.
Enjoy!

  1. Cause I'm the least adventurous eater and so I've never had coconut milk in my food, would you recommend like balancing it with spicy things (red pepper, chili, etc.)?
