  1. Tweaked my back doing deadlifts today, this the second time. I'm done with deadlifts, it's not worth it. I felt scared because my lower back gave out on me and did some turtle back action/got really loose. I did heavy sets of squats 345 | 4 and then 425 on deads and I'm now fucked for maybe 2 weeks.

  2. Try keeping your knees bent. That'll help from your hips firing up. Sounds simple but a lot of people don't realize this. Straighten them out once you get to the top

  3. Does anyone have any advice on recovering from a recent glute/back injury and how to get back into training. I've been out of my usual routine for 11 days now and only really feel my glute injury if I put any form of strain on my glutes and my back is feeling better but I can tell it's still not right. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get back into training normally without injuring myself. Thanks ????

  4. +LexFitness – TeamBOOMBabY! – Hey! Great Video.Have you ever thought of using a hook grip wit deadlifts. Stops you breaking flow from switching grips and stuff. Plus stops stretch from the biceps which could cause a tear when you go underhand grip.

    Either that or you may as well go underhand grip for the set but I find it awkward and uneven for some reason. But its all about Hook Grip bro, plus you wont need wraps. Win-Win.

  5. As a powerlifter personally I think your hips are firing early because you are not leading with your upper back first… What we say is 'chest up' to try and reinforce that movement. Just my opinion of course Lex 🙂 .

Would love a vid 100% dedicated to calfs, my height, size and bone structure is almost identical to yours but not as much muscle mass and my calfs are disgraceful, so bad that it spoiled my holiday as people focused more on my negatives than my positve progression, (gotta love them haters) your calfs look awesome so would love a vlog on how to improve em. Love to Team Boom baby

  7. Has any one else experienced better energy levels when the eat carbs before working out then carbs after the workout as well, getting in the majority of their carbs for the day in those two periods, and how many grams or carbs before and after? Compared to your current macro split.
