TUNA MARINADE:
2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbs chopped ginger
Handful diced cilantro
1 whole lime, halved & squeezed
3 Tbs coconut aminos
Dash hot pepper flakes
Pinch of coconut sugar
Salt & pepper

HOW TO COOK:
mix the marinade all in a bowl. add the 2 Tbs of olive oil to a pan over medium high heat. thoroughly season the tuna steaks with salt & pepper – the tuna does not need oil added to it, keep it dry when you add the salt & pepper. once the pan is hot, place the tuna in the pan and sear for 1 minute on each side. once each side is seared for 1 minute, pour the the sauce over the tuna and cook for 1 more minute to enjoy it medium rare. feel free to bump that to 2-3 minutes if you prefer it more well done. woo!
