  1. My preworkout meal is a banana and protein shake, 45 min later ‘preworkout’ shake. (basically caffeine a some b vitamins)

    15 min later I workout for 2 or three hours with long breaks. And am getting hungry towards the end of my session.

    Any criticisms? Advice? What do y’all do?

  2. I've been working out in the morning before I go to work for many years. I don't have enough time to eat before. I've never could eat anything for atleast an hour and a half before. My main goal right now is to get my waist size down two inches. Would You make a video of Your opinion of hunger? Do Your feel it's more psychological(in Your Mind)? How can someone like myself that does physical work and always hungry deal with this?

  3. A bit of an offtopic question. I saw your older videos where you say that there is a big drop in reps after a certain number of sets. I experimented with that idea and found that for me after the 4th set on a certain muscle my reps drop a lot no matter how long I rest between sets or how hard I go on each set. So I thought what happens if I take creatine as I assumed that this might happen because of a lack of ATP. I took it and now I no longer experience that dramatic drop in reps. Not even after the 13th set. So my question is does taking creatine change the way you should train? Like maybe higher volume per session?

  4. I find a lean beef mince with white potatoes 2 hours or so before works best for me to allow it to digest fully in the stomach first, this optimise's my workouts and it keeps me full but without carbs I don't have strength or energy.

  5. So basically you want your blood sugar levels to be stable all day long, except after your workout where it is a good idea to spike insulin levels. So it wouldn’t be beneficial to spike insulin before a workout?

  6. hey jason, i feel tired most of the day and almost everyday, and the less i train or try to deload, the more tired i feel, what do you think the reason could be? i sleep my 7 hours and take naps

  7. But since carbs are short term fuel, how does eating them after a workout contribute to gains, are you saying that the carbs you eat today are really going to make you stronger tomorrow, the body only stores glycogen for less than a day

  8. try mct oil before training instead of carbs, great fast soure of energy without the need to load up on carbs. no insulin&bloodsugar spike and more growth hormone production 💪👍 doing this fir 3 years now while i'm on keto

  9. My food recovery group told me for the "self-help step" that I am on to confess my food diary for the day. Please don't judge me. I have a problem and it's only my fault.

    – 2 breakfast burritos (egg whites, vegan ranch dressing, organic Tater tots, onions, green onions) flour tortilla

    – 1 plain flour tortilla cause it was there

    – 2 Gala Apples

    – Costco Shrimp and cocktail, about 2/3 of the container

    – Over 3 cups of blueberries throughout the day

    – Ate Wifeys leftover Tater tots from the fridge, no shame (she doesn’t know yet)

    – Costco Poke Tuna, almost half

    – All from Starbucks: 1 slice Pumpkin bread, 1 slice banana nut bread, 1 Pumpkin cream cheese muffin

    – Reg Jersey Mikes Turkey and Provolone

    – Half Panera Southwestern Chili Lime salad, one Panera Choco Chip cookie

  10. I'm a carb eater, I eat mostly gains, nuts, fruits & vegetables with some meats. Yes not a good idea to mix carbs & fats together, I'm beginning to learn how to judge my body by the mirror & I'm satisfied if I see striations & vascularities in the muscles & not looking soft.

  11. By the way I may have to watch this more than once because I keep on getting tired of eating the same thing oatmeal or a bagel or some toast over and over again because when I have too much fat before work out upsets my stomach plus I don’t know how long to wait before work out so I’m usually waiting too long like 3 to 3 1/2 hours that would be next question how long do you wait after you eat before a workout
